Job Overview The Remote Data Entry Clerk and Help Desk Support Specialist will play a critical role in our customer service operations, responsible for receiving and processing requests for technical assistance from our customers. Key Responsibilities Receive and process requests for technical assistance from customers, ensuring timely and accurate entry into our ticketing system Review and update open tickets to ensure that customers receive prompt and effective resolutions to their technical issues Collaborate with our Help Desk technicians to ensure that customer issues are resolved efficiently and effectively Communicate with customers via email to provide updates and ensure that they are satisfied with the service they receive Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, ensuring that all tickets are closed out quickly and efficiently Work closely with our customer service team to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to drive customer satisfaction Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: No prior experience is required, but previous experience in an IT Help Desk or online customer service role is highly desirable Excellent typing skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional service to our customers via email and other communication channels Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively Familiarity with ticketing systems and customer service software, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
