About the Role As a Remote Data Analyst at Workwarp, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data operations. You'll work closely with our team to analyze material takeoffs, enter sales orders, and provide valuable insights that inform purchasing decisions and drive business growth. If you're a self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for data analysis, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis and Order Entry: Analyze material takeoffs and enter sales orders with accuracy, identifying possible takeoff errors and generating questions to field personnel to ensure order accuracy. Inventory Management: Provide purchasing recommendations of stock items to appropriate personnel based on inventory information gathered during the order entry process, and purchase non-stock/special order items as needed. Communication and Collaboration: Provide material cost and availability information to estimating, sales, and field management personnel in a timely manner, and communicate delivery expectations for COD material orders. Cross-Training and Administrative Duties: Cross-train to maintain delivery schedules, retrieve and organize field orders, handle expedited orders and administrative duties, and prepare shop documents. Quality Control and Process Improvement: Continuously review and refine processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. Essential Qualifications: Knowledge of Building Materials and Construction Industry Practices: Familiarity with building materials, construction methods, and industry practices is highly desirable. Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and ability to identify errors or discrepancies in data. Computer Skills: Proficiency in Bistrack, Windows/MS Office, and data entry software. Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze data to inform business decisions. Independent Work: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and communicate effectively with team members. Preferred Qualifications: Data Analysis and Reporting: Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau. Industry Certifications: Relevant industry certifications, such as construction management or building materials certification. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with customers and team members.
