About the Role Key Responsibilities: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or other communication channels in a timely and professional manner Resolve customer complaints and issues in a fair and courteous manner, ensuring that all customers are satisfied with the outcome Provide accurate and detailed information about our products and services, including features, benefits, and pricing Identify and escalate complex issues to senior team members or other internal teams as necessary Collaborate with internal teams to stay up-to-date on new products, services, and initiatives, and to provide feedback on customer needs and preferences Meet or exceed performance targets, including customer satisfaction, response time, and resolution rate Participate in ongoing training and development to improve knowledge and skills, and to stay current with industry trends and best practices Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to have: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. customer service, business, communications) an asset At least 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a remote or call center environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues in a fair and courteous manner Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a similar industry or with similar products and services Certification in customer service, such as the Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) designation Experience with remote customer service software and tools, such as live chat, email management, and CRM systems Second language skills, with the ability to communicate with customers in multiple languages Experience with social media, with the ability to respond to customer inquiries and engage with customers on social media platforms Skills and Competencies: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner Problem-solving skills: strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues in a fair and courteous manner Interpersonal skills: excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams Technical skills: strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software Time management skills: ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines Adaptability: ability to adapt to changing circumstances, including new products, services, and initiatives Career Growth Opportunities: At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
