As a remote customer service representative, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about making a difference in the lives of our policyholders. **Primary Responsibilities** As a remote customer service representative, you'll be responsible for: * Handling high-volume inbound calls from policyholders, providers, and interested third parties, ensuring exceptional service and first-contact resolution. * Reviewing and maintaining new and revised procedures regarding policy information to stay up-to-date on industry developments. * Ensuring customer needs are met on every interaction, whether through phone, email, or written correspondence. * Maintaining department standards for call volume, average handle time, and time management. * Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide seamless support. **Requirements** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * 1+ years of experience in a high-volume contact center environment, with a strong background in customer service. * A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong emphasis on communication and problem-solving skills. * Strong remote experience, with a reliable internet connection (minimum 20 Mbps upload and download speed) and a hard-wired connection. * A smartphone to access VPN and stay connected with our team. * Basic computer knowledge and skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and keyboard functions. * Excellent oral and written communication, with a minimum typing speed of 30 wpm. * Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and maintain a quiet and professional workspace. * Insurance industry experience is a plus, but not required. **Preferred Qualifications** * 2+ years of experience in a customer service role, with a strong background in claims processing and policy information. * Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high call volumes. * Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues. * Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. **Training and Development** As a remote customer service representative, you'll undergo a comprehensive training program that includes: * 2-3 weeks of in-depth training, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm CST. * Ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure your success in the role. * Opportunities for professional growth and development, with a focus on career advancement and skill-building. **Schedule and Availability** * Work from home, with a flexible schedule that allows for a 40-hour workweek. * Availability to work Monday-Friday, between 7:30am-6:30pm CST. * No weekend shifts, unless overtime is presented on the weekend. **Equipment and Resources** * A smartphone to access VPN and stay connected with our team. * All other equipment, including computers and software, will be provided by arenaflex. **Benefits and Perks** * Competitive compensation and benefits package. * Opportunities for professional growth and development. * Flexible schedule and work-from-home arrangement. * Ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure your success in the role. * Access to a comprehensive training program and ongoing education. **Equal Opportunity Employer** arenaflex is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
