Job Summary: Key Responsibilities and Expectations

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for patients receiving specialty drug treatments. Your role will involve:


Managing and processing new patient drug requests and reorders, including verifying and updating benefits
Interpreting and entering new or reordered prescriptions into our pharmacy data system
Communicating and collecting copay amounts, obtaining approvals, and collaborating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams
Monitoring, identifying, resolving, and approving orders with records of sales or clinical issues
Providing empathetic and genuine care to patients and clients, ensuring timely processing of specialty drugs and meeting financial and clinical expectations


To excel in this role, you'll need to possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care.

Essential Qualifications: Skills and Experience Required

To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following essential qualifications:


One year of experience in a client care role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex client needs via telephone
One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications
One year of PC keyboarding experience, with demonstrated skills and proficiency
High school diploma or equivalent required

While not mandatory, the following preferred qualifications can make your application more competitive:


Six months of experience resolving a high volume of complex client needs via telephone
Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and clinical terminology
