As a remote customer service representative, you will be responsible for conducting outbound calls to potential customers, handling customer service inquiries and problems, and identifying customer needs to route them to the appropriate department. Key Responsibilities: Conduct outbound calls to potential customers to promote products and services, and handle customer service inquiries and problems in a professional and courteous manner. Receive inbound customer calls, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner. Identify customer needs and route them to the appropriate department to ensure seamless customer experience. Work in a blended call center environment, making outbound calls and taking inbound calls, with a focus on sales and customer service. Document all call information accurately in the system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies. Support sales teams by upselling and cross-selling products and services to customers, and meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics. Requirements and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required, with 1 to 2 years of related experience in customer service, sales, or a related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management. Proficient in outbound calling techniques, with experience in telemarketing, timeshare, cold calling, or phone sales a plus. Experience in the mortgage, banking, or financial industry is highly desirable, with knowledge of industry-specific products and services. Ability to handle a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet performance targets. Preferred Qualifications: While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience in a call center environment, with knowledge of call center software and technology. Proficiency in CRM software, with experience in data entry and management. Strong sales and customer service skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, with a willingness to adapt to changing business needs.
