Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Customer Service Representative to join our call center team at blithequark. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, responding to their inquiries via telephone, email, SMS, and chat. Your goal will be to provide prompt and effective problem resolution, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, email, SMS, and chat, providing timely and effective problem resolution. Receive and/or place telephone calls, which may require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures. Maintain detailed and current knowledge of blithequark's products and services, as well as those of our assigned clients. Analyze customer service needs and communicate them to service and technical departments, as applicable. Navigate computerized data entry systems or other relevant applications to efficiently manage customer interactions. Resolve basic or tier 1 payment and account-related requests, including card activations, payments, name and address updates, and other customer inquiries. Provide standardized or scripted responses using basic user-friendly Graphic User Interface (GUI) screens for client systems and established documentation and processes. Enter required data into client-provided systems and databases. Determine basic reasons for customer issues using a client-provided decision tree and escalate or refer unresolved customer grievances and requests to more experienced Customer Service Representatives or designated departments. Build base knowledge and familiarization of products, policies, and procedures for a limited number of clients and understand association guidelines and compliance by frequently referring to online manuals and specific client training. Requirements and Qualifications Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent. 6 months minimum call center experience, either remote or onsite. Desired Skills and Capabilities Acquires and applies job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete assigned routine tasks. Works on assignments that are routine to semi-routine in nature, requiring limited decision-making outside of stated processes. Recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice. Normally receives detailed instructions and follows established procedures on all work. Requires instructions on all assignments and works under close supervision.
