Key Responsibilities Promote and sell air travel services to the traveling public or freight forwarders Provide assistance with passenger check-in and load acceptance Interpret authority's guidelines and requirements for domestic and international travel or shipment shipments Meet and dispatch aircraft within set-up times Provide support to troubled passengers and clients Protect company properties and revenue Ensure a safe travel experience for all clients Possess the physical capability and dexterity to perform various job-related tasks Use organizational skills to perform multiple tasks within a limited time period Be self-motivated and require minimal supervision Respond and assist during safety and emergency situations Follow internal and external regulations and procedures May be required to drive and operate air stairs to enplane and deplane passengers Responsible for the overall performance within the work location and may be required to lead and direct the work of other employees May be required to perform Passenger Operation Control functions, including air-to-ground communication as well as Tower functions Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: High school diploma or GED Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language Bilingual language skills may be required in some locations Applicable valid driver's license as required by local authorities Must satisfy FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted admission to airport security identity display areas (SIDA), if applicable Must be able to obtain airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends and holidays Must report to work on a regular and timely basis Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Previous experience in customer service, air travel, or a related field Knowledge of air travel regulations, procedures, and industry standards Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations Proficiency in multiple languages Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Time management and organizational skills Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of air travel regulations, procedures, and industry standards Proficiency in multiple languages (desired) Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to helping you grow and develop your skills.
