Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Chat Consultant to join our team, working from the comfort of their own home. As a Remote Chat Consultant at arenaflex, you will be the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries and issues related to our internet customer service via email, acting as a liaison to our Processing Department team. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues on the first attempt, and maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

Handle incoming sales and customer service-related chats, ranging from potential sales opportunities to assisting customers with order changes, status updates, and cancellations, focusing on solving customer problems on the first attempt.
Demonstrate empathy and present arenaflex in a positive light at all times, utilizing salesmanship to maximize sales opportunities and meet sales goals and expectations.
Suggest products to customers while probing for additional information, providing lighting and home décor solutions that are beneficial to the company and attractive to the customer.
Prevent customer returns and ensure customer retention through reasonable negotiations, providing solutions that are beneficial to the company and attractive to the customer.
Contact customers via phone when possible to resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely manner, demonstrating self-confidence and a desire to go the extra mile to take care of the customer from A-Z.
Partner with Management on escalated customer and product issues, identifying trends on issues that may affect customer satisfaction levels and consistently communicating them to management in measurable terms.
Provide pro-active, consistent follow-up to all customer inquiries, either via phone or email, responding and replying to every customer email upon receipt.
Document a complete summary of the customer's inquiry, actions taken, and expectations set forth on the respective order, maintaining standards set forth by the company QA program.


Essential Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of customer service, administrative, or retail background, with call center experience being a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate details to customers in a professional and calm manner.
Computer literate, with the ability to navigate through programs and windows, and excellent typing and data entry skills.
Able to multi-task, such as talking on the phone and typing notes at the same time, with effective problem-solving skills.
Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays, with regular job attendance required in accordance with a regular schedule established for the position by the supervisor.


Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a remote or home-based customer service role, with a strong understanding of home décor and lighting solutions.
Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other customer service tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
