About the Role
In this exciting opportunity, you'll be the initial point of contact for inquiries from potential and existing members regarding their pensions and other financial benefits. Your primary responsibility will be to provide one-to-one inbound telephone contact with applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees in customer service roles. You may also periodically provide support through outbound calls, ensuring seamless communication and resolving customer queries efficiently.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Accurately documenting enrollment requests, status changes, complaints, and grievances
Entering application and enrollment information into a web-based computer system for customers as needed
Maintaining technical and program policy proficiency within the client rules/guidelines and other related program policies
Providing clear, complete, accurate, and objective information based on a full understanding of program requirements

$16.00 per hour pay rate after training (bi-weekly pay)
Paid Training ($15.00 p/hr.) with equipment provided
Full-time schedule (40 hrs. a week)

Requirements for Success
To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

High School Diploma/GED
Must be 18 years of age
Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
Previous customer service and/or call center experience
Proficiency with MS Office and keyboarding
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with applicants, beneficiaries, and co-workers
Ability to problem solve through analysis and ongoing feedback
Achieve results through knowledge, empathy, and commitment
Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds
Experience working with healthcare and employer benefits is highly preferred
Ability to successfully complete paid training
Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift between 8am-10pm EST, Monday- Friday
