About the Role

We're urgently hiring experienced registered nurses to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a ShiftMed RN, you'll have the opportunity to work in various settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation centers. Our ideal candidate is a compassionate and skilled nurse who can demonstrate clinical judgment within an evidence-based practice, collaborate with other healthcare staff to improve patient outcomes, and deliver care that meets the unique faith and cultural needs of patients.

Key Responsibilities

As a ShiftMed registered nurse, you'll be responsible for:


Ongoing patient assessment and observation to ensure optimum health levels.
Administering and recording medications per facility policy and procedures.
Transcribing and implementing written, verbal, and electronic physician orders.
Delegating appropriate tasks to nurse aides and ensuring proper care delivery.
Supervising clinical operations for nursing and clinical care activities.
Performing assessment data collection in an ongoing, systemic manner.
Reviewing and evaluating data collected by other healthcare professionals.
Developing care plans that prescribe nursing actions to achieve patient goals.
Identifying patient/family learning needs and implementing appropriate processes.
Demonstrating effective written and verbal communication.
Collaborating as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Ongoing flexibility regarding patient assignments, floating, and related staffing issues.
Promoting a positive work environment and demonstrating a positive attitude.


Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:


An active, unencumbered RN license from the state in which you plan to work.
A minimum of 1-year experience of RN work experience in acute care settings.
The ability to push, pull, support, and lift a minimum of 80 pounds.
Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing and walking.
Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support).
Annual physical.
Negative TB test results.
A clean background check.
COVID-19 Vaccination (as per CMS and local Department of Health guidance).
