We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team in Dunwoody, GA. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs and providing exceptional support to our clients and their families. Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to work with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping others, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other professionals. As an RBT, you will be responsible for implementing ABA therapy programs, collecting data, and providing feedback to our clients and their families. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one in-home ABA therapy to children and adolescents with ASD Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans Work collaboratively with BCBAs to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions Maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A Bachelor's Degree or be working towards a degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) Experience working with children in a 1:1 setting for at least 1 year 1-year ABA/RBT experience or 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills Preferred Qualifications Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to obtain Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families Knowledge of ABA principles and practices Experience working with children with ASD What We Offer In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer: Competitive hourly rates starting at $21/hour and onwards based on experience Flexible schedules with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available Opportunities for professional growth and development University partnerships, supervision, practicum, and mentoring for aspiring BCBAs Tuition discount with our partners Behavior Therapist New-Hire Skills Training A supportive and collaborative work environment Career Growth Opportunities At Key Autism Services, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
