What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Ramp Agent at arenaflex, you will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks that keep our airport operations running smoothly. Your daily responsibilities will include:


Baggage and Cargo Handling: Safely and efficiently lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft. You will ensure that all items are handled with care and delivered to the correct destinations, maintaining the integrity of passengers' belongings and ensuring timely flights.

Ground Equipment Operation: Safely drive and operate a variety of ground support equipment, including tugs, belt loaders, tow tractors, and other vehicles used in aircraft servicing. You must be comfortable operating machinery in areas of high congestion while maintaining strict safety protocols.

Aircraft Guidance: Guide incoming and departing aircraft to and from gate positions, ensuring safe positioning for boarding, deplaning, and aircraft movements. Your attention to detail and clear communication are essential for preventing delays and maintaining on-time connections.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including those established by the FAA, TSA, and arenaflex internal policies. You will be responsible for identifying and reporting any safety hazards or concerns immediately.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other ramp agents, flight crews, and ground operations staff to coordinate activities and ensure smooth turnaround times between flights. Effective communication and teamwork are essential for meeting operational deadlines.

Customer Assistance: Provide friendly and professional assistance to passengers as needed, especially during irregular operations or flight disruptions. While this is primarily a ramp position, a customer service mindset helps create a positive experience for all travelers.

Equipment Maintenance: Perform pre-operation checks on ground support equipment and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs. Keeping equipment in good working condition is essential for safety and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For: Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:


Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Ability to pass a physical abilities test, including lifting up to 75 pounds repeatedly
Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods, often in all weather conditions
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment


Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will help you stand out:


Previous experience in aviation ground operations, warehouse work, or material handling
Forklift certification or experience operating heavy machinery
