**Key Responsibilities**
As a Ramp Agent, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of baggage, cargo, and mail to and from aircraft. Your daily tasks will include:
* Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, while ensuring timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions.
* Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather conditions.
* Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
* Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination.
* Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to all operational processes and procedures.
**Work Environment and Schedule**
As a Ramp Agent, you'll work in a fast-paced environment with varying shifts, including early morning, evening, and overnight shifts. You'll be required to work between 20 and 40 hours per week, based on your seniority and the operational needs of the station. You'll also be required to work in harsh weather conditions, including heat, rain, and snow.
