This remote data entry and analysis expert will play a crucial role in driving a culture of security, effectiveness, and development within the Quality Control division. Job Summary The Quality Control Standards Data Analyst will be responsible for utilizing data to create, present, and make proposals for novel ideas and activities, as well as perform in-depth analysis to mitigate the risk of non-compliance through process improvements. This role will support organizational objectives, including maintaining low costs, modernizing operations, and improving compliance, thereby giving blithequark a competitive edge in the market. Key Responsibilities Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in timely data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements. Assist in creating and communicating results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical stakeholders and leaders. Help analyze ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging support issues and provide insightful responses to enable senior management to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project responsibility. Presentation of insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools to facilitate stakeholder understanding. Assist in creating and distributing specific queries to pull and organize data from various sources, establishing the frequency, and validating the necessity of the data requirements. Identify irregularities in processes through audits and convey findings to the team. Assess the effectiveness of processes and procedures by monitoring for trends and errors. Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision. May perform other work duties as directed by the team leader. Essential Qualifications Proven ability to collect, organize, analyze large amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to effectively listen to, understand, and communicate ideas and present written, verbal, or presentation materials to groups of varying audiences. Ability to assess business issues, identify opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred. Ability to troubleshoot, to summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning. Able to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is preferred. Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is preferred. Able to work effectively in a strong support/team-oriented environment. Able to prioritize responsibilities effectively and be an independent problem solver. Past internship experience in a related field is preferred. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Ability to plan and support large business initiatives. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in a related field, such as data analysis, business administration, or computer science. Professional certifications, such as Certified Data Analyst (CDA) or Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), are preferred. Experience working with large datasets and performing statistical analysis. Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, R, or SQL, is preferred. Experience with data visualization tools and techniques, such as data storytelling and dashboard creation.
