Job Overview The Quality Control Standards Data Analyst will be responsible for utilizing data to create, present, and implement recommendations for novel ideas and initiatives. This will involve performing in-depth analysis to mitigate the risk of non-compliance through process enhancements, ultimately supporting our organizational objectives of maintaining low costs, modernizing operations, and improving compliance. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders to drive business excellence and make a meaningful impact on our organization. Key Responsibilities Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in timely data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements. Assist in developing and communicating results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders. Help analyze ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging support issues and provide insightful responses to enable senior management to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project responsibility. Presentation of insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools to support the relevant aspects of the analysis and facilitate stakeholder understanding. Assist in creating and distributing specific queries to pull and organize data from various sources, establishing the frequency, and validating the necessity of the data requirements. Identify irregularities in processes through audits and convey findings to the team. Evaluate the effectiveness of processes and procedures by monitoring for trends and errors. Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision. May perform other work duties as directed by the team leader. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong ability to collect, organize, analyze critical amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy. You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively listen to, understand, and convey ideas and present written reports, verbally, or through presentations to groups of varying audiences. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong understanding of data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase. Ability to assess business issues, identify opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics. Prior internship, capstone projects, and research coursework are highly desirable. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and be an independent self-starter. Prior internship experience in a related field is highly desirable. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Ability to plan and support large business initiatives.
