Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Control Standards Data Analyst to join our team as a remote data entry specialist. As a key member of our Quality Control Strategies and Guidelines Group, you will play a crucial role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by identifying statistical trends and performance metrics to improve the Quality Control division.

Key Responsibilities

Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in optimal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements
Assist in creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical stakeholders and leaders
Help investigate critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging issues and provide logical responses to enable senior management to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project responsibility
Presentation of insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools supporting the relevant aspects of the analysis to facilitate stakeholder understanding
Assist in developing and distributing specific queries to pull and integrate data from various sources, establishing the frequency, and validating the necessity of the data requirements
Identify irregularities in processes through audits and convey findings to the team
Evaluate the effectiveness of processes and methods by monitoring for trends and anomalies
Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision
May perform other work duties as directed by the team leader


Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Strong ability to collect, organize, analyze critical amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to effectively listen to, understand, and communicate ideas and present written, verbal, or presentation materials to audiences of varying sizes
Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred
Ability to grasp the issue, to summarize and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning
Able to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is preferred
Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is preferred
Able to work effectively in a strong support/team-oriented environment
Able to commit to responsibilities independently and be a self-motivated individual
Past internship experience in a related field is preferred
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Ability to plan and support large business initiatives


Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in a relevant field
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
