Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team on the 3rd shift. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our units are manufactured to sales agreements, Morgan's engineering drawings, standards, and specifications. You will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring all units meet our quality standards, directing others in completing rework items, and conducting in-process quality audits. Key Responsibilities Inspect and ensure all units are manufactured to sales agreements and Morgan's engineering drawings, standards, and specifications Direct others within the work area to complete rework items and ensure timely completion Conduct in-process quality audits and review standards and specification requirements with production supervisors when errors or defects are detected Perform final inspection functions per Morgan and customer specifications and standards Work with manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery and budgetary goals are met Direct and coordinate the quality process, provide continuous quality improvements, and ensure the integrity of Morgan's product quality, manufacturing, certification, and release activities Train the workforce on quality standards and specifications Adhere to company safety regulations and assist in training and awareness of safety guidelines to new employees in the department Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment Perform other duties as required by management Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a quality control/quality assurance position, with a preference for 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment Clear and effective communication skills Ability to concentrate for extended periods and follow established safety procedures Computer experience using Microsoft Office Physical Demands This job operates in a manufacturing plant environment, and you will be regularly required to: Talk or hear Stand (sometimes for extended periods); walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms Lift up to 35 pounds Sit, bend, stoop, squat, reach overhead, or crawl (may be in confined spaces) Perform repetitive tasks with your hands and have the ability to climb ladders and/or work in high places Career Growth and Development Paid job and leadership development training Tuition reimbursement Opportunities for advancement and professional growth A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) savings plan with company match Generous footwear and eyewear reimbursement programs Paid holidays and increasing vacation time with years of service Company Culture and Work Environment We offer a unique blend of big company perks with a small company culture.
