**Responsibilities**
As a Production Manager/Customer Service Representative at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:
* **Job Production Management**: Engineer and manage a wide variety of jobs/projects from start to finish, including interpreting customer requirements, developing and managing timelines throughout the production process, and ensuring quality throughout the process.
* **Communication and Collaboration**: Effectively manage communications with sales representatives, customers, outside services, and internal departments to ensure seamless project execution.
* **Job Specifications and Instructions**: Interpret customer purchase orders/instructions accurately and provide clear, detailed instructions to the manufacturing team to ensure that job specifications are clearly communicated to all departments.
* **Printing Department Knowledge**: Demonstrate a basic understanding of all printing departments, including:
+ Digital Department
+ Prepress
+ Press Room
+ Bindery
+ Shipping
+ Mailing
* **Cost Management**: Manage jobs to estimated costs and ensure each is handled in the most cost-efficient manner.
* **Additional Duties**: May include other duties as assigned by management.
**Skills and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* **Attention to Detail**: Must be detailed-oriented and have strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* **Strong Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, sales representatives, and internal departments.
* **Customer Service Skills**: Strong customer service skills to provide exceptional service to our customers.
* **Multi-Tasking**: Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at one time.
* **Scheduling and Time Management**: Ability to manage schedules, meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and manage costs.
* **Teamwork**: Ability to work as a team member and have a positive attitude. Must be a dependable team player.
* **Technical Skills**: Familiarity with MIS systems such as iQuote/ePS and Monarch, proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel, and knowledge of press parameters, ink coverage, and press layouts and folding signatures.
* **Mailing and Variable Data Experience**: Strong mailing and variable data experience, knowledge of postal rules and regulations, and ability to create layouts using Metrix software.
* **Commercial Print and Direct Mail Experience**: Minimum 5 years experience in commercial print and direct mail lettershop.
