Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a high-performing team of web frontend engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and oversight. Own the technical vision and strategy for Viva Connect web applications and integrations, driving key decisions and execution excellence. Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and other Engineering teams to drive business impact and deliver exceptional user experiences. Foster a culture of engineering excellence, driving continuous improvement in reliability, performance, security, and overall architecture. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our frontend stack, including React, Webpack, Jest, and GraphQL. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A four-year degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline. 6+ years of technical engineering experience in coding languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. 3+ years of people management experience, leading high-performing frontend engineering teams. A proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and performant web applications and features. Strong technical leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive technical decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experience can help you stand out: Experience with Microsoft's technology stack, including Azure and Microsoft 365. Knowledge of modern frontend development frameworks and tools, such as React and GraphQL. Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices. A strong understanding of software development best practices, including testing, debugging, and code review.
