Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive patient care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical issues, health counseling, and behavioral anticipatory guidance. Perform administrative duties, such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, patient flow, insurance verification, and payment collection. Handle patient appointments and conduct steering assessments to ensure positive patient health outcomes. Engage with patients on healthy lifestyle choices, complete diagnostic tests, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive care plan. Empower patients to take an active role in their healthcare through services like health screenings, social determinants of health, and chronic condition management. Essential Qualifications Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical issues. Order and administer vaccinations and injections (including COVID-19, flu, TB, and Depo) and provide evidence-based patient/parent immunization guidance and education. At least two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent. Complete the Spot certification test within 30 days of employment. Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including mouth-to-mouth and operation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Pass a FIT assessment and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires. Preferred Qualifications If under 1 year of work experience as a licensed provider, prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred, but not required. Education and Certifications To be considered for this role, you must have: A Graduate degree-level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Practice license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role. Or, in select states, a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other health-related Graduate degree or equivalent experience along with a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies) with current National Board Certification and State of Practice license to practice in the role. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience.
