**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Phone and Chat Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a hybrid remote worker, you'll have the flexibility to balance your time between our remote office and home, working a variety of shifts between 7:00am-7:00pm (CST) Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends. This role requires a strong and diverse skillset, including excellent communication and problem-solving skills, technical savvy, and the ability to work independently.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Phone and Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* Managing large amounts of inbound or outbound calls in a timely manner
* Managing multiple chat channels at one time
* Following communication "scripts" when handling different topics
* Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching, and providing solutions and/or alternatives
* Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls
* Performing data entry and customer service skills
* Navigating online efficiently to verify nurses' credentials and follow up with written messages
* Handling follow-up phone calls with nurses to confirm the status of picking up shifts
* Remaining positive and professional in all customer interactions
* Flexibility to cross-train as requested
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* 1 year of customer service or customer support experience
* 1 year of previous call center or office background experience required
* Technical savvy and previous remote work from home experience a plus
* Quick learner and able to work independently
* Type 35 words per minute accurately
* Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening
* A background check applicable with state and federal laws is required

* Work hours: Shifts between 7:00am-7:00pm (CST) Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends
* Paid training: 3 weeks in length from 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday (CST)
* Status: Full-time 40 hours
* Equipment provided: We'll ship equipment to you for full-time permanent employees
* Must have verified internet service (secure, reliable, and dedicated high-speed is required to support business needs) and an established dedicated work area (desk, chair, electrical outlet, direct LAN connection)

To ensure a seamless experience, you'll need:
* Processor: Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater
* Memory: 8GB on Windows 8.1 / 10 64 bits
* Screen Resolution: 1280x768 or higher, dual monitors required
