Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Technician (Remote) – Clinical Customer Care Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
Providing exceptional customer care by responding to inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacists in a timely and empathetic manner.
Assisting with prescription processing, including refills, prior authorizations, and insurance verifications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Resolving issues related to medication orders, dosage instructions, and delivery timelines, demonstrating a deep understanding of pharmacy practices and regulations.
Utilizing pharmacy software to accurately manage patient records and prescription details, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Collaborating with pharmacists and other team members to ensure patient safety and satisfaction, promoting a culture of open communication and teamwork.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding the handling of prescription medications, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards.
Qualifications
Required:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
An active and valid Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) or equivalent, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the field.
Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices, terminology, and medications, ensuring accurate and informed decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacists.
The ability to multitask and remain organized in a remote work environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
A reliable high-speed internet connection and a secure, distraction-free workspace, ensuring seamless communication and productivity.
