Job Overview As a Pharmacy Technician and Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacy operations and providing excellent customer service to our patients and customers. Key Responsibilities As a Pharmacy Technician and Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include: Assisting the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision, in accordance with state, federal, and company policies and procedures Using pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions Assisting with and coaching pharmacy technicians in the operation of pharmacy systems and cashiers in the operation of the pharmacy cash registers Modeling and providing a unique and delightful customer experience, including greeting customers, providing assistance with services and products, and resolving customer issues and answering inquiries Developing strong relationships with most valuable customers and providing excellent customer service Performing duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and verifying medication accuracy Reporting prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhering to company rules and procedures regarding pharmacy errors and the quality improvement program Assisting with outside and inside maintenance by ensuring the pharmacy department is stocked with adequate supplies, clean, neat, and orderly in condition and appearance Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and prescription processing Excellent customer service skills and ability to provide a unique and delightful customer experience Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support colleagues as needed Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Six months of experience in a retail environment Previous work experience with arenaflex Desirable math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications Proficient computer skills and ability to use pharmacy systems effectively Knowledge of store inventory control Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support colleagues as needed Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and prescription processing Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
