**Job Summary**
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Representative to join our team on a remote basis. As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, handling inbound and outbound calls, and resolving issues related to pharmacy benefits, providers, and claims. **Key Responsibilities**
* Answer questions and handle problems regarding pharmacy benefits, provider, or claim issues
* Handle inbound calls and make outbound calls to follow up with members, providers, and pharmacies as necessary
* Spend approximately 90% of your time on the phones, providing empathetic customer service to our members
* Seek approval for overrides and prior authorizations as needed and enter them into the claims system
* Monitor pharmacy claims processing and complete data entry of member records
* Other duties or special projects may be assigned as necessary
**Essential Qualifications**
* 1+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical healthcare industry
* A pharmacy technician certification is highly preferred (inactive certifications also apply)
* 1+ year(s) of PBM or health benefits experience
* Experience in working in a high-volume call center is highly preferred
* High school diploma or equivalent
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical healthcare industry
* Experience in working with electronic health records (EHRs) and claims systems
* Strong knowledge of pharmacy benefits, provider networks, and claims processing
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards
