Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate – Remote Data Entry Position at careerzynith

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provides exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Processes transactions, including registering sales, collecting cash, and dispensing change as needed
* Maintains accurate records, including patient and medication data, and ensures data is entered correctly into our pharmacy systems
* Assists pharmacists with tasks, such as filling prescriptions, counting and pouring medications, and checking for potential interactions
* Reports any medication errors or discrepancies to the pharmacist on duty and adheres to our organization's policies and procedures
* Handles phone calls and responds to customer inquiries, including those from doctors and other healthcare professionals
* Processes manual claims for external program prescription services and performs other administrative tasks as assigned
* Assists with stock management, including ordering, unloading, checking, and storing shipments of medications
* Maintains knowledge of our organization's resource security methods and records claims for distribution center overages, deficiencies, and request errors
* Ensures compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances, such as cocktails and tobacco products
* Builds and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, and special designs, and completes resets and corrections as assigned
* Assists with the division of food items, including raw and pre-cooked foods, and item placement as determined by strategies and methods
* Provides customer support in the photo area, including digital identification photo services, banner print, and creative machine services
* Takes on web pick-up responsibilities, including screening orders in Picture Care, handling requests, and delivering orders to customers as they arrive at the store
* Assists with outside and inside maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and well-organized store environment and appearance
* Consents to all organization policies and procedures and maintains respectful relationships with colleagues
* Completes special tasks and other assignments as allocated
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
* Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
* Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekend hours
* Basic computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy systems
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Six months of experience in a retail environment
* Previous work experience with careerzynith
* Strong numerical skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing prescriptions
* Proficiency in using computer systems and software
* Knowledge of store stock control and inventory management
* PTCB certification
