Job Summary The Pharmacy Customer Service Associate is responsible for modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, while providing support to the pharmacy team in their daily operations. This includes registering sales, assisting the pharmacist with patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and maintaining a clean and well-merchandised store environment. The successful candidate will be a team player, with excellent communication and customer service skills, and a strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience, greeting customers and offering assistance with products and services. Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. Assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience. Recommends items for sale to customers and recommends trade-up and/or companion items. Maintains records, checks in and prices merchandise, and takes inventory as required or as directed by the store manager or shift leader. Performs duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and verifying medicine. Reports prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adheres to arenaflex policies and procedures in relation to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. PTCB certification or willingness to obtain certification through the designated PTCB training program. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail environment. Knowledge of pharmacy systems and operations. Experience with customer service and conflict resolution. Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Skills and Competencies Customer Service: ability to deliver exceptional customer service, resolving issues and answering questions in a professional and courteous manner. Communication: excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Teamwork: ability to work effectively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work culture.
