You'll work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure seamless patient care and customer satisfaction. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply. **Key Responsibilities** * Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and patients through greeting, offering assistance, and resolving issues. * Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. * Assists pharmacists with prescription processing, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. * Maintains a clean and organized store environment, including counters, shelves, and inventory. * Processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. * Recommends items for sale to customers and recommends trade-up and/or companion items. * Takes customer to OTC aisle when possible to assist in locating products. * Performs duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information. * Reports prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adheres to Company policies and procedures in relation to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program. * Handles telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians. * Processes manual claims for third-party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner. * Assists and supports Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals. * Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products). * Constructs and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. * Assists with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures. * Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine. * Assumes web pick-up responsibilities (monitors orders in Picture Care Plus, fills orders, delivers orders to customers as they arrive at store). * Assists with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance. **Essential Qualifications** * Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). * Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. * High school diploma or equivalent required. * PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration. **Preferred Qualifications** * Six months of experience in a retail environment. * Prior work experience with arenaflex. * Good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications. * Good computer skills. * Knowledge of store inventory control. * PTCB certification. **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
