About the Role As a Pharmacist with Walgreens, you will be responsible for the execution of medical services procedures, ensuring compliance with clinical pharmacy services, and driving pharmacy financial performance. You will work remotely, providing clinical expertise and support to patients, pharmacists, and field leaders, while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Carry out direct patient care programs, including Drug Treatment Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects. Drive compliance and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services. Lead local pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies to company financial goals. Support efforts to improve patient experience by increasing focus on healthcare services. Provide expertise, resources, training, and support to pharmacists and field authority. Conduct data and clinical reviews, making necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and propriety of drugs. Review patient profiles to ensure proper and safe medication treatment. Provide individualized patient/supplier consultation and clinical interview and information to patients, specialists, and insurance plans. Ensure compliance with government, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations. Essential Qualifications Current Pharmacist license as allowed by the appropriate state licensing authority. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or related field. Experience working with confidential data. Ability to work non-standard hours, including nights, events, and weekends. Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Experience providing customer support to internal and external clients. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes. Preferred Qualifications Ability to obtain other state pharmacy licenses as needed. Knowledge of insurance plans and pharmacy operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
