About the Role We're seeking an experienced Personal Trainer to join our team as a Flexologist in Charleston, SC. As a Flexologist, you'll play a vital role in supporting our clients in achieving healthier and happier lives through one-on-one assisted stretching. If you're passionate about health, fitness, and exercise, and have a love for building and nurturing relationships with clients, we want to meet you. Key Responsibilities Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions as well as group stretch classes for up to 6 clients Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions Ensure safety of clients in regard to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations Handle member concerns when applicable Assist sales associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed Maintain strong social media presence for client membership, interaction, and retention Clean and maintain all equipment to ensure it is available for client use at any given time Qualifications and Requirements We're looking for individuals with a passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility, and a background in personal training, massage therapy, physical therapy, Pilates or yoga instruction, or dance instruction. If you have a professional work ethic, are reliable, and adhere to our attendance policies, we'd love to hear from you. Essential Qualifications: Love of boutique fitness environment Passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility Preferred background: Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist, Pilates or Yoga Instructor, Dance Instructor Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people Love of connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve goals Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a related field, such as personal training, massage therapy, or physical therapy Knowledge of stretching and flexibility techniques Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations Training and Development We're committed to providing our team members with ongoing training and development opportunities. As a Flexologist, you'll receive in-house training for the Flexologist role, including 20 hours of online tutorials and 3 days of in-person/hands-on training.
