Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Part-Time Remote Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you'll provide Physical Therapy services to guests, assisting in treatment, program planning, and implementation, while functioning under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Responsibilities As a Part-Time Remote Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll be responsible for: Assisting in related documentation and communication, ensuring accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment plans. Functioning under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, providing guidance and support to patients and family members in home programs and activities of daily living. Instructing patients and family members in home programs and activities of daily living, promoting independence and self-care. Collaborating with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes. Communicating effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: An Associate's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Current Physical Therapist Assistant licensure. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Skilled Nursing setting, with a strong understanding of patient-centered care and evidence-based practices. A Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and CPR certification. Preferred Qualifications While not required, we prefer candidates with: Experience working in a remote or virtual healthcare setting. Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
