Job Description As a data entry specialist at blithequark, your primary responsibility will be to input, update, and maintain various data sets related to airline operations, customer information, and logistics. Working remotely provides you with the flexibility to create a schedule that best works for you. You will be expected to commit to 20 hours a week, ideally spread across four-hour shifts. This position is perfect for individuals looking to supplement their income while contributing to a leading company in the airline sector. Key Responsibilities: Entering and updating customer data into our database system with a high degree of accuracy. Reviewing and verifying data before input to ensure completeness and correctness. Assisting in data cleanup and identifying discrepancies in departmental records. Generating reports and summaries based on data collected for management review. Collaborating with other team members to improve data entry processes and efficiency. Keeping abreast with airline policies and procedures to ensure compliance in data handling. Responding to inquiries related to data entry tasks from team members and management. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus. Proven experience in data entry or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and database management. Excellent typing speed with a high degree of accuracy (minimum 40 WPM). Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in data entry or administrative roles is beneficial but not required.
