Job Overview
We're currently seeking experienced Part-Time Primary Care Physicians in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine to join our team at two locations: Memorial Green / Katy Freeway - West Houston and Cypress / Skinner - Northwest Houston. As a Part-Time Primary Care Physician with Houston Methodist Primary Care Group, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients while enjoying a fulfilling and challenging career.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients in a primary care setting
Conduct routine physical exams, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, and develop treatment plans
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
Prescribe medications and provide patient education on disease management and prevention
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and guidelines
Qualifications and Requirements
Essential Qualifications
Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Texas
Strong clinical skills and experience in primary care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs)
Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives and patient-centered care
Leadership or management experience
Participation in continuing education and professional development
