About the Role
We're seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, be flexible with an aptitude for learning, understanding, and conveying information. You'll be responsible for treating every customer with the utmost courtesy while maintaining a positive outlook on every call. Excellent communication skills are vital for this role, along with enjoying assisting customers in a friendly and respectful manner.
Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at careerzynith, your key responsibilities will include:
Answering incoming calls and responding to customer requests in a timely and professional manner
Working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to changing guidelines and priorities
Booking appointments for customers with a high degree of data accuracy
Maintaining excellent written and verbal communication skills on a consistent basis
Identifying and escalating issues to supervisors as needed
Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining established quality requirements
Staying up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to provide informed support to customers
Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Participating in ongoing training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
A high school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of experience in an inbound/outbound call center or retail environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to multitask in speaking on the phone, using the computer and keyboard simultaneously
Ability to type at least 25 words per minute
Experience in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining established quality requirements
Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
Experience working in the home improvement industry
Knowledge of CRM software and other customer service tools
Experience with data entry and record-keeping
Ability to work in a remote/hybrid environment
