Job Overview As a Part-Time Live Chat Moderator at blithequark, you will be responsible for monitoring live chat channels for spam comments and inappropriate content, engaging with users to address concerns and report spam, and collaborating with our moderation team to ensure a safe and welcoming online environment. You will uphold blithequark community guidelines and policies, provide excellent customer service by assisting users with inquiries and issues, and work independently and efficiently in a remote environment. Key Responsibilities Monitor live chat channels for spam comments and inappropriate content, taking prompt action to remove or report such content. Engage with users through live chat to address concerns, provide support, and report spam, ensuring a positive user experience. Collaborate with the moderation team to ensure a safe and welcoming online environment, sharing knowledge and best practices to maintain consistency and quality. Uphold blithequark community guidelines and policies, staying up-to-date with changes and updates to ensure compliance and consistency. Provide excellent customer service by assisting users with inquiries and issues, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner. Work independently and efficiently in a remote environment, managing your time effectively to meet performance targets and deadlines. Familiarize yourself with the blithequark platform and community guidelines, staying up-to-date with new features and updates to provide effective support and moderation. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in live chat moderation or similar roles. You should be able to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to identify spam or inappropriate content. Availability for part-time hours based on business needs is also essential.
