We're looking for a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Evening Specimen Processor & Data Entry Specialist. As a vital part of our patient care process, you will ensure laboratory specimens are properly received and routed for testing, while also providing exceptional data entry support.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Part-Time Evening Specimen Processor & Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:
* Receiving and routing laboratory specimens for testing, ensuring timely and accurate processing
* Performing data entry tasks, including lab requests and test orders, with high accuracy and attention to detail
* Working in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements, prioritizing safety and compliance
* Championing quality control and recognizing when corrective action is needed
* Collaborating with our team to provide exceptional patient care and support
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A High School Diploma or equivalent
* Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
* Typing proficiency, including 10-key, with high accuracy and speed
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and organization
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
* 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
* Data entry experience in a production environment
