As a Part-Time Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data management processes. **Job Description:**
In this role, you'll be responsible for entering data into our database from paper documents, utilizing your computer skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency. You'll report to a data manager or another senior data team member, working closely with our data management team to maintain the integrity of our data systems.
**Responsibilities:**
* Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners
* Type in data provided directly from customers or other parties, verify data by comparing it to source documents
* Update existing data, retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
* Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
* Organize and maintain files and records; update when necessary
* Create and enforce policies for effective data management
**Requirements:**
* Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk
* Fast typing skills (at least 40 wpm)
* Excellent knowledge of word processing tools (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.)
* Basic understanding of databases (relational databases, data modeling, etc.)
* Great attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Additional computer training or certification will be an asset
