**Job Summary**

* Compare data with source documents to detect errors and discrepancies
* Re-enter data in the verification format to ensure accuracy
* Compile, sort, and verify data before entry to ensure consistency and quality
* Maintain logbooks of activities and completed work to track progress and identify areas for improvement
* Review data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output
* Perform routine backup and retrieval processes to protect data and ensure business continuity
* Collaborate with team members to resolve data-related issues and improve processes
**Essential Qualifications**
* A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
* Strong knowledge of MS Office and data programs (e.g., Excel, Access)
* Excellent typing speed and accuracy (at least 40 wpm)
