The team works closely with numerous colleagues to determine the optimal pricing to enable merchant acceptance of American Express while striving to improve inclusion and merchant satisfaction. Ultimately, we drive GM&NS income and profit growth through client-driven pricing standards, more flexible pricing engineering, and innovative pricing solutions. **About the Role** We're seeking an experienced Part-Time Data Entry Specialist to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our Global Merchant and Network Services Pricing team, you'll play a critical role in determining and reporting merchant discount income. This is a unique opportunity to influence multiple organizations and stakeholders by aligning the association's objective for profitable charge volume and merchant growth, essential for the strength of our business. **Key Responsibilities:** * Create a Canada figure for merchant discount income track monthly performance against forecast and identify drivers of change. * Develop vendor discount income scorecards for the Canada region. * Drive standardization and process improvement among the different local pricing teams for all reporting and determining related activities. * Support external reviews, including investigating issues found, reaching out to the regional pricing teams that manage the merchant relationship to discuss issues, and managing goals. * Perform ad-hoc data analysis to assess discount rate trends and uncover insights. **Essential Qualifications:** * 2+ years' experience in financial services or payments industry, and/or other finance-related roles. * Four-year college degree required; strongly preferred in finance/Accounting/Business. * High proficiency with Excel is required. * Strong attention to detail and organization. * Strong analytical skills – demonstrated ability to develop complex financial models and draw value-added insights from large datasets.
