**Join careerzynith as a Part-time Data Entry / ROI Specialist**
As a Data Entry / ROI Specialist at careerzynith, you'll play a critical role in managing the secure and compliant release of medical records and health information for patients, authorized individuals, and third-party entities. You'll be part of a dedicated workforce in a global company that celebrates the skills you bring. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
Converting hard copies to electronic images, with comprehensive training provided by our team
Processing and verifying a variety of standard coded or uncoded customer business and/or statistical source data into a computer using a data entry device
Ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and organizational policies in handling requests for health records, while maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of patient information
Managing the secure and compliant release of medical records and health information for patients, authorized individuals, and third-party entities
Location and Schedule:
Our part-time Data Entry / ROI Specialist role is based at our Birmingham, AL location, with the following schedule:
Sunday: 7:00am - 7:00pm (12 hour shift)
Friday: 11:00pm - 7:30am (8 hour shift)
Compensation and Benefits:

Requirements and Competencies:
To succeed as a Data Entry / ROI Specialist at careerzynith, you'll need:
1-3 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in health information management or a release of information role
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
Familiarity with medical records systems and terminology
Prior experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and document management is a plus
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and other privacy laws related to patient information required
Certified Health Information Technician (CHIT) or Certified Release of Information (ROI) Specialist certification preferred
