Your primary responsibilities will include: **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** * **Data Entry**: Accurately and efficiently enter patient and account data into our internal accounting system, utilizing text-based and numerical information from our hospital system. * **Document Editing and Creation**: Edit and/or create PDF files or Excel files as needed, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. * **Customer Service**: Respond to queries for information and access relevant files, providing excellent customer service to hospital partners, patients, attorneys, and other agencies working with our patient population. * **HIPAA Compliance**: Adhere to strict HIPAA guidelines to maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive patient information. * **Additional Responsibilities**: Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our team. **Qualifications and Requirements** To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills: * **Education**: High School diploma required. * **Technical Skills**: Good working knowledge of MS Office, Windows, and Exchange email required. * **Customer Service**: Excellent customer service skills, including friendliness, courtesy, and helpfulness. * **Communication**: Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally, as well as interact in a professional manner with colleagues, patients, public, and client staff members. * **Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills**: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively. * **Remote Work Requirements**: A home internet connection that meets blithequark's upload and download speed criteria is required for remote and hybrid positions. **Benefits** At blithequark, we believe in making a positive impact on our employees' lives, both personally and professionally.
