Job Overview
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees, ensuring that our IT systems are running smoothly, and performing various data entry tasks. Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support to employees on all aspects of end-user computing, including software and hardware installations, updates, and maintenance of PC desktop/laptop systems and peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain IT clients' desktop software and hardware; support mobile workforce.
Offer consultation to IT clients on all aspects of end-user computing and desktop-based LAN systems software.
Responsible for end-to-end issue ownership, resolution, and communication with employees.
Provide on-site training to users.
Resolve and close tickets/work orders supporting end-user desktops and peripherals.
Answer customer care issues escalated from the Helpdesk.
Contribute to desktop projects (global installs/upgrades) as a project team member.
Remotely analyze and resolve requests using remote tools.
Investigate and collaborate with different departments to assist with infrastructure-related issues.
Record customer interactions in incident management system, including asset management.
Recover data from hard disk drives and/or perform data migration.
Support remote access for virtual private network as well as remote/broadband connectivity for laptops.
Install and configure local and network-based printers.
Perform preventive maintenance.
Work various shifts, holidays, on-call, and travel as required.
Follow management direction, adhering to IT policy and procedure.


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience/training.
At least 3 years of hands-on IT experience supporting and resolving various PC desktop software and hardware issues.
Firsthand experience supporting PCs in a Windows/TCPIP environment.


Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable:

A+ certification.
MCSE/MCP certification is an asset.
Prior IT infrastructure experience in an airline/airport environment.


Skills and Competencies
To excel in this role, you will need:

General knowledge of all Windows-based operating systems, including Windows 10.
Knowledge of workflow and labeling systems.
Understanding of VPN connectivity and ability to troubleshoot issues.
Ability to work independently and act in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
