Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled part-time customer support and service technician to join our team at blithequark. As a service technician, you will be responsible for performing mechanical services and light remanufacturing on soft drink fountain equipment, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our clients. This is a remote work opportunity, with a competitive hourly rate of $27 per hour, and a schedule of 8 hours per day. Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical services and light remanufacturing on soft drink fountain equipment according to blithequark standards Investigate and diagnose issues with soft drink fountain equipment Maintain all refrigeration equipment in proper working condition Move equipment to perform all mechanical services on fountain hardware, including preventive maintenance, programming, and corrective repairs Provide exceptional customer service, working collaboratively with clients to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction Work independently and as part of a team to achieve service goals and objectives Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent degree/certification Valid driver's license Technical aptitude to repair machines and equipment Ability to lift 50 pounds Flexibility to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as needed Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field Previous experience in customer support and service technician roles Knowledge of soft drink fountain equipment and refrigeration systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Technical skills: ability to repair and maintain soft drink fountain equipment and refrigeration systems Customer service skills: ability to provide exceptional service and support to clients Communication skills: ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Problem-solving skills: ability to diagnose and resolve issues with equipment and systems Time management skills: ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
