Our remote office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a comfortable workspace that fosters productivity and well-being. **Job Summary** As a Part Time Customer Service/Lot Attendant, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and ensuring the efficient operation of our lot. You'll work closely with our team to resolve customer issues, answer questions, and educate customers about our products and services. If you're a motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide exceptional customer service to customers inside and outside our lot, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. * Inspect and maintain equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels and ensuring that all vehicles are in good working condition. * Use smartphone-based technology to manage rentals and inventory, ensuring accurate and efficient tracking of equipment. * Assist customers with U-Haul products and services, including preparing rental invoices and accepting equipment returned from rental. * Install hitches and trailer wiring, and fill propane (certification offered through arenaflex upon employment). * Drive a forklift (certification offered through arenaflex upon employment). * Participate in ongoing continuous education through arenaflex University, staying up-to-date on the latest industry trends and best practices. **Minimum Qualifications** * Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record. * Availability to work part-time/weekends and holidays. * Basic computer knowledge. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate risks or discomforts. * Physical demands include long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience in customer service or a related field. * Knowledge of U-Haul products and services. * Certification in propane filling and forklift operation. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Work Environment** The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.
