About the Role
As a Part-Time Customer Service Associate for Tool Rental at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting the growth of our business. Key Responsibilities

Welcome customers to arenaflex and provide friendly and professional customer service, ensuring that every interaction is positive and memorable
Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise, including tool rentals, and provide expert advice and guidance on product selection and usage
Down stock merchandise by identifying empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies, ensuring that our stores are always fully stocked and ready for customers
Process orders and deliveries accurately, ensuring that customers receive their merchandise as expected and on time
Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service and support the growth of our business
Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs, including preparing tool rentals for customers and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order
Guide customers through shopping or checkout, providing expert advice and guidance every step of the way
Complete other duties as assigned, including participating in visual merchandising, maintaining store appearance, and supporting other departments as needed


Essential Qualifications

6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets
Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
Ability to minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation


Preferred Qualifications

6 months of retail and/or customer service experience, preferably in a home improvement or tool rental environment
Bi-lingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers who speak multiple languages
Certification in a trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)


Skills and Competencies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong knowledge of home improvement products and services, including tool rentals, with the ability to provide expert advice and guidance to customers
