You'll be responsible for handling various aspects of the checkout process, addressing product returns, and fulfilling other essential cash-related tasks. We're looking for individuals who possess strong character and integrity, a strong work ethic, and determination to succeed. Key Responsibilities: Always greet customers in a friendly and helpful way. Foster connections with clientele by discussing their projects, proposing our merchandise, and inciting enthusiasm for their procurement. Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating customer needs and ensuring that all their requests are met with a smile. Demonstrate adherence to the company's safety policy through actions and behaviors. Consistently align your actions and work with the organization's fundamental principles. Manage customer purchases using the point of sale (POS) software. Adhere to pre-established guidelines for processing customer reimbursements or swapping items. At the end of your store's business hours, shut down all the cash registers and lock them for the night to protect the cash and other valuables kept within them. Comply with the established guidelines for accepting cash, checks, and credit cards. Follow the company's telephone etiquette policy when answering the phone. Organize, categorize, and exhibit products accordingly. Generate tags to specify the retail price of the products available. Minimum Eligibility Requirements: Only individuals who have attained the legal age of 18 years or older are allowed to take part. Possessing a grasp of fundamental math concepts is a prerequisite for excelling in academic fields such as engineering and finance. Customer service experience. It is possible to visit other stores to extend support. Physical/Sensory Requirements: Our Part-Time Cashier role may require the following physical and sensory abilities: Medium Work category: The ability to control a force weighing between 20 to 50 pounds periodically. The job may require the ability to control a force weighing between 10 to 25 pounds frequently, or up to 10 pounds of force consistently. Duties involve the movement of various objects, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or other motions. The job requires the frequent usage of hands and fingers to manage or manipulate items. Additionally, the employee may be required to stand, walk, reach out, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl during specific tasks.
