About the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University is committed to delivering exceptional patient care, advancing medical knowledge through research, and providing comprehensive educational programs. The Division of Emergency and Trauma Imaging, where you will be working, is a dynamic team of over 20 faculty members providing 24/7 clinical services across seven hospitals. Key Responsibilities Provide remote overnight radiology coverage for ED and inpatient cases, working 7-day blocks of overnight shifts (10pm-7am) followed by 21 days off. Interpret whole-body acute care imaging studies, collaborating with existing overnight emergency radiologists and supporting residents working overnight shifts. Utilize Microsoft Teams for seamless communication with the 24-hour reading room coordinator and other team members. Opportunity to take on extra daytime, evening, and night work for additional per-shift pay above the base salary. Participate in various schedule permutations with more shifts and higher salaries available. Qualifications and Requirements Essential Qualifications ABR Board-certified/eligible. Eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license. Strong clinical skills in multiple modalities and organ systems. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency and inpatient setting. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Subspecialty training in radiology. Experience in acute care imaging.
