Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Overnight Pharmacy Technician Data Entry and Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our front-end pharmacy team, you will perform critical order entry tasks, collaborate with other team members in the medication dispensing process, and provide exceptional customer service. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a closed-door pharmacy setting, supporting skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings.

A Day in the Life
As an Overnight Pharmacy Technician Data Entry and Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:

Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
Calculate and/or verify correct dosage based on prescriptions
Assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions to ensure timely processing
Provide dispensing pharmacists with critical information regarding allergies, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items flagged by the computer
Create and maintain accurate customer records
Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless medication dispensing and exceptional customer service

Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

Certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician, or as required by state law
One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or in a call center environment
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED


Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following skills and experiences are preferred:

Prior experience in the long-term care industry
PTCB National Certification

Compensation and Benefits
The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.46 per hour.
