Experienced Overnight General Laborers – Store Reset and Merchandising Experts Needed for Immediate Hire

Job Overview In this temporary but exciting role, you will be working Sunday through Thursday, 8pm to 5am, for 40 hours a week. Your primary responsibilities will include reorganizing store layouts, moving merchandise to the sales floor, assembling and disassembling shelving, stocking shelves when necessary, pulling discontinued items, and replacing shelf tags. You must be able to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs and be comfortable with physical labor. This position offers a competitive salary of $16 per hour, paid weekly via direct deposit, and is a W2 position. Key Responsibilities Reorganize store layouts to meet project specifications Move merchandise to the sales floor, ensuring efficient and safe placement Assemble and disassemble shelving units as required Stock shelves with merchandise when necessary, maintaining a neat and organized appearance Pull discontinued items from shelves and prepare for removal Replace shelf tags and perform other tasks as needed to complete the store reset Work effectively in a team environment to meet project deadlines Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Excellent teamwork and communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliability and punctuality, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines Ability to relocate to Maple Grove, MN, before starting work Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Previous experience in retail, merchandising, or a related field Familiarity with store reset and merchandising principles Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Basic tool operation skills, such as using a drill or impact driver Ability to work at heights, using ladders or lifts as needed Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Physical stamina : Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting, bending, and standing Attention to detail : Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain a high level of quality in your work Teamwork : Ability to work effectively with others to meet project deadlines and achieve common goals Communication : Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients Problem-solving : Ability to think critically and resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits While this is a temporary position, it offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and gain experience in the retail and merchandising industry.
