**The Role**

We're seeking an experienced Online Community Manager and Customer Support Specialist to join our team on a freelance contractual basis. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for supporting a global haircut brand with their online customer support. This is a remote role, and you'll need access to a computer or laptop, compatible with the software we use, and a stable internet connection.

**Key Responsibilities**

As an Online Community Manager and Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

* Managing and responding to online customer service queries and inbound social media messages from our client accounts on a daily basis.
* Effectively responding to all customer support and community management tickets.
* Proactively escalating and spotting potential PR threats, and following support briefs.
* Collaborating with our team to resolve customer issues and provide exceptional customer experiences.
* Utilizing our software, including Zendesk, Gorgias, and Freshdesk, to manage customer interactions and provide support.

**Essential Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

* Previous experience delivering online customer support and community management.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Some experience with phone support.
* Superb time management and organizational skills.
* High accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to respond to customers in a timely manner.
* Experience with collaboration tools, including Slack, Google Suite, and Microsoft Teams.

**Preferred Qualifications**

While not essential, experience with the following would be advantageous:

* Copywriting and proofreading.
* Social media management and content creation.
* Community management and moderation.
* Customer service software, including Zendesk, Gorgias, and Freshdesk.

**Compensation and Benefits**

As a freelance contractor, you'll receive a competitive hourly rate of $14. You'll also have access to our software and tools, as well as ongoing training and support. We offer a flexible schedule, with 16-28 hours per week available.
